Maintenance Officer

Cranfield Group's longstanding and highly respected aged care provider based in Bundaberg, is looking to expand their maintenance team.

This role will commence as a contract position, with a permanent full-time opportunity available within six months for the right candidate.

This position is ideally suited to someone with a Maintenance background in a similar environment, or someone with a trade background that is looking for a change of pace.

You will be responsible for general maintenance across an aged care facility, ensuring both the interior and exterior of the properties are maintained to a high standard.

This is a hands-on, multi-skilled maintenance role requiring versatility across basic trades.

Minor painting and plaster patchwork

General repairs and upkeep of fixings and small structures

Small installations and reactive maintenance tasks

Basic minor plumbing repairs (where required)

Cleaning gutters and external upkeep

Pressure washing where required

Ensuring facilities remain safe, functional, and well-presented

Please note:

All external grounds and landscaping are maintained separately – no landscaping duties required.

Maintenance or trade background preferred

Strong all-round maintenance capability

Ability to work autonomously across two facilities

High attention to detail and pride in presentation

Reliable, professional, and proactive approach

Available to commence ASAP
Current/active Police check within 12 months

Full-time hours – Monday to Friday

Based in Bundaberg

Rate negotiable depending on experience

Pathway to permanent employment within six months

This role would suit someone local to the Bundaberg region. However, it may also suit someone willing to travel and stay locally during the week, returning home on weekends.
